Training
I studied for a BA in Textile Design at the University of Leeds, graduating in 1981. More recently (2009) I gained a Foundation in Art and Design, from Waltham Forest College.
Exhibiting/Work
I have exhibited as part of : E17 Art Trail and Leytonstone Arts Trail for the past few years, as well as other art events in East London.
Artist Practise
My practice consists of printing, textiles, drawing and painting. I am most drawn to and experienced in the latter two.
The themes that most influence me are : home, family, the local area and pattern.
I am fond of producing work in series, which started around the time of 'Diary of a Housewife' (2009) - a textile wall hanging consisting of 7 aprons.
